What do you do when a sow farrows early and is in the barn with a mix of 10 other pigs?

1. Don’t attempt to move a sow after she has had babies in her nest.
2. Collect piglets..
3.Find ways to secure her away from others. In this case a wrapped a hog panel tied to a pallet. A temporary hack.
4. Remove placenta. I typically don’t do this. However the other pigs are attracted to it and could compromise safety of piglet in
When eating it.
5. Check on her often with water in hand.
6. Observe other pigs reaction.
